1.  What is the purpose of MemoriesofaSoldier.com?
MemoriesofaSoldier.com was created to honor the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the United States Military.
 
2. Do you have to be in the Military to be a member?
No. Everyone is invited to be a member! Members can be: (1) Current members of the military (2) Veterans or (3) Family, friends and supporters of military members. We only ask that MemoriesofaSoldier.com be a place of inspiration and support for those who have fought to insure our freedoms and constitutional rights
 
3. What does it mean to “Create a Memory?”
MemoriesofaSoldier.com allows for members to “create memories.” This means that you can create a tribute to for your friend, family member, comrade, or war hero. These men and women can include those currently serving, veterans and/or those who are no longer with us
 
4. What information should I provide within a Memory?
You will be asked to provide detailed information within the “Memory” form including date of birth, date of death, birthplace, branch of the military, where stationed, wars served in, etc. You can also write a biography for your hero.
Please make sure that you honor the person. MemoriesofaSoldier.com will remove all memories that are derogatory or offensive
We invite you to share your hero touched the world and the many ways in which they inspired you, your family and friends!
 
5. How many people can I create Memories for?
You can create as many memories as you’d like! The more the better!
 
6. What if someone created a Memory for my friend or loved-one?
If someone has already posted a memory of your friend or loved-one, we invite post your own. The more times a soldier is honored the better!
 
7. Can I post war letter?
Yes. Once you have created a “memory,” you can go into your profile, click on “My Memories” within your profile and select “Add a New Letter” underneath the appropriate “memory.”
File types allowed for upload include a pdf, Word document or text file.
 
8. If I donate to Memoriesofaids.com, toward what does my donation go?
Our goal at MemoriesofaSoldier.com is to provide an on-line community for those who want to honor military men & women without charging a membership fee. We work to fund our website through advertisements, sponsors and donations only.
 
9. Why should I donate? And how much should I donate?
We aren’t a major corporation with a fee schedule. We are simply a small group of individuals who aspire to celebrate the lives of men and women who have served in the United States Military. Your donations will help us cover server costs, site maintenance, and site upgrades.
There is no minimum or maximum. We appreciate your help no matter what the donation amount!
 
10. How does my company become a sponsor?
Please e-mail us at info@memoriesofasoldier.com and we will send you information on sponsorship. Currently, we are looking for sponsors for our sponsor page. When you company becomes a sponsor, we will place your logo and company description on the Sponsor Page. The logo will be clickable and send our members/site viewers to your Webpage.
